Founded by registered California architect Chip Daniels, after a career as an architect and construction manager, Virtual Construction Advisors offers developers, contractors and property owners the ability to manage development and construction projects more efficiently by taking the design drawings, and resolving them into fully buildable fabrication-ready BIM models.
Chip got his start in the construction world as a boy hanging around construction sites, getting his first job at age 12 picking up scrap lumber and for fun, building balsa wood models of wood frame buildings. He developed a deep love of the construction process, the excitement of seeing all the parts and pieces of the building come together.
Today he earns his living by…building virtual models of wood frame buildings. You could say he is the kid who got to be what he dreamed of. Except he’s not also a cowboy.
Joe Daniels got his start as a project engineer working at a construction firm, and grew to include Building Information Modeling and Virtual Design, to create site studies and concept plans.
He is currently studying for his California Architect’s license.
